Review of Complementary Therapy written by a patient
15th July 2018

It is always a delight to come to the hospice. My mother received palliative care which was excellent and I have received great aftercare with counselling and support, during and after her passing away. I have also now done compassionate weightbar training which was also delivered with care and excellence outslay.

Review of St Anne's Ward written by a patient
15th July 2018

I have been coming to St Joseph's hospice St Anne's ward for many years and I could not find or ask for a better place and care. I find St Anne's ward like a five star hotel. I could not have asked for anything better. The nurses and everyone are marvelous and kind and very understandable. They listen to what I have to say without judge.

Staff were humorous, warm, caring and friendly, especially on arrival when I was a bit overwhelmed. Doctors up to speed on my notes - plan of action in place. I feel involved in decision making. Physio helpful. This rehab will get me home quicker and enabled me to stay there longer.

Staff are very nice and skilled in their work. The care I had was extremely good whenever I requested any medicine it was brought to me promptly. The nurses were very empathetic and cared for me very well. I am very happy that I was referred here as my pain has been managed better here than at the Homerton hospital. There are no improvements to be made as the hospice is excellent in all aspects of care for those who need palliative care.
